Raikiri comic logo

The logo for my comic, Raikiri.
The word Raikiri means lightning cutter in Japanese, which I tried to incorporate into the logo itself.
The bottom of the logo is fashioned after a lightning bolt (Rai) and the split between Rai and Kiri cuts the lightning (Kiri).

A logo for my Let’s play series.
I intended to create a logo that let people know right away that the subject was video games, so I created a very blocky design, then resized it to give the logo a pixelated look. Hence, it looks like an older game logo would appear in the arcade or a system in the 80s.

 

movie podcast logo

A logo for a podcast about movies.
I put movies front and centre to emphasise the subject and incorporated the film strip motif into both the O as well as the framing of the logo itself.
